Antsinmypants' mushrooms (white raw mushrooms like for pizza)
I was "playing with" (Aka, fixing) dinner last night, and realized we had some mushrooms that would go bad if we didn't cook them.
Well, I sliced a few after washing them and threw them in with the meat for extra flavoring, and realized we didn't quite have enough vegetables for dinner (we had sqash and zucchini that were done in the oven and on the stove with oil, salt, greek seasoning and some garlic, but only enough if everyone wasn't very hungry)..
So I get this idea, since the pan already has some olive oil still in it (about a tablespoon), toss in some salt, garlic powder, greek seasoning (not the powder kind, the kind that comes in the jar with the spices minced), and some chives, and mix it well with the oil. Add about one tablespoon of olive oil in after you've mixed it. Slice your mushrooms thinly (like for salad) and sautee in the pan until brown to your taste.
